To whom it may concern,

Ausform were engaged to carryout structural concrete works at three concrete regulators within the Koondrook Perricoota Forest Flood Enhancement Works Project. During this time I worked with them in my role as the Project Engineer overseeing the works.

While on site they worked hand in hand with our team, our engineers and other trades to ensure a quality product was delivered and made sure that key schedule milestones were achieved.

Their wide range of concrete services and capabilities combined with the extensive experience of their work crews makes them a highly desirable contractor for any formwork and/or concrete placement works.

Ausform would be an asset to any company that engages them and I have absolutely no problem recommending them.

Yours sincerely

To whom it may concern,

Downer engaged Ausform Pty Ltd in May 2012 to deliver all concrete works associated with the Ranger Brine Concentrator Project. The contract value was approximately $3.5m with Downer holding the major subcontracts to supply concrete, steel, survey and geotechnical requirements. Downer are delivering the project for ERA Major Projects at the Ranger Uranium Mine in Jabiru (NT).

The project has been substantially fast tracked to complete the civil and concrete works prior to the Northern Territory wet season and Ausform have demonstrated an ability to mobilise an enthusiastic and technically competent team to match up with the manning requirements of the project. Ausform also accommodated a partial team demobilisation following initial site mobilisation due to unscoped earthworks causing delays to the concrete commencement dates with minimal commercial impact.

The compact construction site and extreme weather conditions provided challenging work environment and Downer found the work ethic of the Ausform team to be outstanding. Their attitudes to safety and quality aligned with Downer's during the project delivery and their workscope was delivered with 0 LTI's and minimal quality non-conformances.

The supervision team led by Matt Carkeek and Clint Johnson worked closely with the Downer Management Team to ensure that all contract deliverables were met. Unusually Company Director Brian Loughnane practices a hands on approach demonstrating the standards and attention to detail he expects from his team while working side by side on the tools with them. This approach appeared to work well onsite.

Commercially we found Ausform to be transparent and fair and importantly on top of all their contract administration commitments. Ausform were willing to take on the majority of the works on a schedule of rates basis ensuring that Downer and Ausform were aligned from a contractual perspective. This ensured a close working relationship through the duration of the works.

I would be happy to work with Ausform on future works.

Yours sincerely,
Nat Hickcox

To whom it may concern,

Ausform was engaged as part of H.Troon's team to complete the construction of the new 5 level Bendigo Multi Storey car Park. Ausform was awarded the contract to complete the $5.5 million concrete superstructure. From the very start H.Troon found Ausform to be very professional in the way they carried out their business, and the was maintained for the complete duration of the project. Ausform were given a program to work to, of which Ausform's standard of finish and workmanship to be of the utmost standard, and appreciate their problem solving abilities when it came to finding a solution that works. They completed all works with a full focus on OHS and ensured all safety standards were met. H.Troon enjoyed thoroughly the relationship that was built throughout this project with Ausform and would fully recommend the Ausform for future works.

Yours Faithfully,
James Troon
Project Manager / H. Troon Pty Ltd

To whom it may concern,

I'd like to thank the Ausform team for the commitment to delivering their scope of works which included a complete bridge (Racecourse Road), two bridge abutments and a centre pier which are part of the Nagambie Bypass Project. Ausform's commitment to quality and safety was excellent with the final product completed ahead of time.

To whom it may concern,

I have recently been involved in the Construction of the Victorian Desalination Project. My responsibilities were overseeing works in the Pre-treatment area, including footings; walls tanks;. Suspended decks; the structural steel superstructure, Pre-cast tilt panels and the Green Environmental roof.

Ausform were awarded a portion of this work as a lump sum contract and also carried out a significant amount of on an hourly rate agreement. I found Ausform a pleasure to work with, their organisation within the company, their Planning and Safety Management was always of a high standard and they were an asset to the Thiess/Degremont Project during their time on site under difficult conditions.

They were supervised onsite by Matthew Carkeek and Clint Johnson both of whom led by example and displayed a considerable amount of knowledge and willingness to help us achieve the goals set by management. Regular visits to site by the Company Director, Brian Loughnane also assisted us in achieving our goals, by providing additional technical support and organising fabrication of equipment offsite to fast track progress. Ausform's accounting system was always accurate and processed promptly with clear details of every employee's activities daily. At all times, Ausform had an honest approach to the work performed.

However, after over 12 months onsite they had completed their contract work and unfortunately decided to return to Bendigo to carry out other contracts awarded to them. We certainly missed their expertise and attitude when they left.

I would not hesitate to recommend Ausform for any future work.

Wiley would like to thank Ausform Pty Ltd for their outstanding efforts on the George Western Foods, Castlemaine, Processing Plant Upgrade.

The concrete contract we agreed on, was a mixture of fixed contract lump sum and also agreed hourly rates on the more difficult work. This approach worked well for both parties. The total contract for the concrete work ended up at approx 2.5million.

Ausform's reliability to man-up when needed, quality of finish, attention to detail (which is very important in a food processing plant) was outstanding.

The nature of some areas of this project required intricate planning and night shift work to fit in with the client's requirements. All this work was achieved in the timeframes and to a very high standard of finish, with no planned disruption to our client. We could not have asked for a better result, due in no smart part to Ausform's efforts

Wiley would recommend Ausform for any work in Victoria and would be more than happy to use them again on future projects

To whom it may concern,

Ausform Pty Ltd have been working for Thiess Degremont Joint Venture on the Victorian Desalination Project since February 2010. They currently hold the largest value structural concrete placement subcontract package on the project, an approximate value of $14M. To date their work and their work ethic has been excellent, which has resulted in them picking up much more work on the project than they had originally submitted a tender for. Their specialist knowledge of water retaining structures in particular has been invaluable on this project. I have no hesitation in recommending them and would be happy to answer any further inquiries.

Joel Gabauer
Project Engineer / Thiess Pty Ltd

To whom it may concern,

Ausform has been working the past 7 months for Fulton Hogan on the Robinvale pump station and Koorlong Waste Water Treatment plant in Mildura. Value of works was approximately $7 million. Works are nearing completion. The works undertaken by Ausform are of a very high quality and the cooperation with the Ausform management team has been good and I can recommend them for any concrete / formwork works. Safety standard of compliance was high and no MTI / LTI was recorded. I am happy to discuss the above with anybody who is interested.

Regards,
Eric Waters / Senior Project Manager / Fulton Hogan Pty Ltd

Ausform's Scope of works included the following:

  • The Design & Construct of a 500KL (20m DIA) Concrete Reclaimed Wash Water Tank
  • Design & Construct of a 22m L Cantilevered Concrete Retaining Wall
  • Construction of a 22m L x 11m W x 7m H Concrete Oxidation Tank
  • Construction of a 6m L x 4m W x 6m D Bypass Pit including mass concrete pipe supports
  • Construction of a concrete slab for a 60T Lime Silo & delivery truck delivery area.
  • Other miscellaneous concrete slabs & footings.

Ausform's Site Supervision was well organised & works were completed on time & within price quoted. Personnel performed well, were well trained & knew what needed to be done & also provided construction input where required.

There were no MTI's or LTI's & was a result of Ausform's diligence concerning site & site safety management.

Overall Ausform's performance was excellent & Aquatec Maxcon would not hesitate to use Ausform again on future projects & highly recommended them for other projects.

Kind Regards

Please accept my thanks on the successful completion of the works at Chepstowe Wind farm.

Reports from site and from my client and engineers were that your workmanship and professionalism were of a very high standard.

The concrete pours seemed to run very smoothly and without incident.

We hope we can work with you in the near future. I will be in contact with both of you to close project out and pass on my thanks personally.

Ausform are my 'go to' contractor for reinforced concrete structures. I have had a number of good experiences with Ausform whose 'straight bat' culture comes from the values of the management team. Ausform gives me certainty of quality delivery. They have always provided innovation in design and construction smarts and the best win-win results have happened when they have been treated as a true and valued partner in the project

Re MMWF Fire Wall
Brian,

In reference to the pouring of the fire wall.
As we know there was a bit of controversy as to the structural integrity of the wall and the subsequent pouring procedures. Upon observing the diligence Ausform displayed in the way the wall was constructed and the work practices implemented to complete the wall, including pouring, I would just like to take this opportunity to say that it is pleasing to work with a company that shows a level of professionalism, and safety, projects should strive to achieve.

Regards,
Jason Grant / Zero Harm Safety Advisor
Downer Engineering Power

We note our appreciation of Ausform's work on the recently completed project.
We found your Company excellent to deal with including your professionalism and workmanship - site issues were extremely limited and I believe the finished product bears reflection of that - given the opportunity, I would be more than happy to deal with your Company again.
